Gjutning av garageplattan

Dagen började med mulet och regn och lite i hemlighet önskade jag nästan att värmen skulle släppa. Näpp! Regnet kom vilket tillförde fukt till värmen. Det var precis vad jag behövde. Det blev inget varmt alls i mitt städkaos. -och ni kan ju tänka er hur det blev för kära maken som idag skulle gjuta grunden till garaget.
With clouds and after a while rain, I secretly kind of wished for some cooler weather, but no, water to warm temperatures gives humidity. Thanx! I was sweatting cleaning the house, you can only imagine how my dearest husband felt casting the foundation for the garage.


I några dagar har gubben lagt ut frigolit (=isolering) på gruset, sen kom armeringen på och nu bara väntar det hela på betongen.
The old man has put styrofoam (isolation) on top of the gravel and on top of that came the reinforcement. Now it all waits for the concrete.


Så, då var det dags för att glatt hälsa betongbilen välkommen. Tänk vad mycket lättare vi har det nu jämfört med för bara 100 år sedan! En lastbil kommer, häller ut lagom mängd och tjollahopp, grunden är gjuten!
And now, time for the concrete truck. It's amazing how easy it looks, just pour the requested amount and there you are, the foundation is done!


Här är den. Plattan till garaget, slipad och klar. Nu ska den bara hållas våt ett tag, så att den inte torkar för fort och undvika ytsprickor.
